This Privacy Policy explains how WashHop ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the washHop mobile application and website (the "Service").

Information we collect

Account information: name, email address, phone number, and password (stored securely as a hash).
Pickup details: addresses, pickup notes, optional bag counts, and optional pickup location photos.
Order information: services selected, pricing, pickup schedule, and order status.
Device and usage data: basic diagnostic logs to troubleshoot app issues.
Analytics: Google Analytics may collect limited site usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser type) to understand how the Service is used.

How we use information

Provide pickup scheduling, order fulfillment, and customer support.
Send account, pickup, and delivery notifications you opt into.
Verify your phone number and email address.
Improve reliability and security of the Service.

Sharing

We share pickup and contact details with assigned laundry workers only as needed to complete your order. We do not sell your personal information. Analytics cookies load only after you choose Accept All on our cookie banner. Until then (and if you choose Reject Non-Essential), Google Consent Mode keeps analytics and advertising storage denied. We also enable Restricted Data Processing (RDP) as a baseline so analytics data is not used for personalized advertising or remarketing.

Photos and location

If you attach pickup photos, they are uploaded to our servers and shown to the assigned worker for that order. Address search uses Google Places to validate and geocode pickup locations.

Data retention and deletion

You may delete your account from your profile at any time. This removes your profile data and cancels eligible pending pickups. We may retain limited order records in anonymized form where required for operations, accounting, or legal obligations.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
